Wedding Invitations FAQs

A traditional wedding invitation suite includes the invitation, an RSVP card, and any other small card containing information for your guests (reception, travel and accommodations, attire details, wedding website, etc).

How long before my wedding should I send out invitations?

Send your wedding invitations out six to eight weeks prior to your wedding date. If you are planning a destination wedding or have international guests, it is totally okay to send invtiations out even earlier.

Who should receive a wedding invitation?

Everyone on your guest list. For sure send Invitations to those who received Save the Dates. If you have a B list, send invitations as you start to receive RSVP's declining attendance.

How far before the wedding should the RSVP be?

RSVPs should be due one month before the wedding so you can get an accurate guest count for your vendors such as the venue and caterer.
